Sensei Jayson Lucas

3rd Degree Black Belt, Nick Cerio’s Kenpo

I have been studying Martial arts for over 27 years. I started my journey right after my son, Zachary, was born in 1996. I started with SGM Ed Parker Kenpo karate (International Kenpo Karate Association - IKKA) and then under Master Paul Mills (American Kenpo Karate International – AKKI) when I  lived in Las Vegas, NV.

My direct Sensei at that time, 7th Degree Black Belt, John Herman had a tremendous influence in my training during this period. Due to my military commitments, I was forced to stop training for a couple of years. Once I moved to Omaha in 2004 for my military duty and retirement, I was hungry to start my training again in Kenpo – how fortunate I was to find Shihan Mark Fountain & Sensei Greg Fountain to continue my studies along with my sons, Zachary (Shodan) and Wolf (Sankyu). My journey has instilled core values I continue to follow today - discipline, honor, humility, character, and integrity.
