Martial Arts runs in my blood. I started with wrestling, Taekwondo, and in my adult life, Kenpo Karate.  My karate teacher, Tom Scott, became my mentor and friend. I started coaching  with Sensei Scott and eventually teaching classes. My passion for teaching  and drive for continued learning keeps me hungry for more. I am so blessed to have my family, sons- Greg and Jordan, and my wife, Dawn, share in this Kenpo Karate journey. Learning Nick Cerio’s Karate is a privilege and an honor. Sharing this journey by teaching  students and seeing their progress and passion ignite is very rewarding. Professor Nick Chamberlain continues to instruct, mentor and guide my journey, for which I am grateful.  

My path has also taken me to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Fabio Santos with roots directly to the Gracie clan. Receiving my BJJ Black Belt and continuing to teach BJJ at 88 Tactical, on the weekends, adds another aspect to my Martial Arts that I love to share.
